Suzuki Samurai, Grease INNER Wheel Bearings w’ Adapter.
Prior to sealed wheel bearing hubs, wheel bearing had to be packed with grease and adjusted occasionally. To save a lot of time greasing the inner wheel bearings a special inner wheel bearing adapter tool used to be sold to shops that would cut down the time of greasing the inner wheel bearings by over an hour. Since the special inner wheel bearing grease adapter is no longer sold, I am using a 10 inch needle extension on the grease gun. The extra long grease needle extension does almost reach the inner wheel bearing, but adding enough grease and then installing the outer wheel bearing will force the grease all the way to the inner wheel bearing. So, in effect, the 10 inch needle grease adapter can work to grease the inner wheel bearing without taking off the brake caliber, brake rotor and removing the inner wheel bearing grease seal. The 10 inch needle grease adapter does save time for greasing the inner wheel bearings. This 10 inch needle grease adapter should also be good to apply rust proofing cosmoline inside body panels, rockers and inner the frame.
